About Elaine Carr
Elaine Carr has 35 years of experience working in industry and commerce, and over 25 years in the field of marketing.
Having progressed from a career in logistics with a multinational manufacturing corporation Elaine made headway into the world of corporate marketing in a product management role.
After several years as Operations Director of a family owned and run business with 22 staff Elaine accepted a strategic marketing position with a micro business in the events sector. Elaine assumed responsibility for developing and launching their range of products and services.
In 2002 Elaine established FlipFlop Marketing and specialises in helping SMEs to adopt a structured approach to their marketing.
Elaine combines a strong analytical skill set with a process driven and highly disciplined approach. As a result of her extensive experience and through understanding of the operational and financial aspects of running a business Elaine has a track record of creating feasible, viable marketing campaigns that deliver results.
Elaine works with clients who want to grow their businesses effectively through the implementation of practical marketing. She imparts her knowledge and expertise to demonstrate how applying a structured approach to marketing will enable clients to correctly identify their target market; articulate a compelling message; deliver that message effectively and measure the return on investment in their marketing.
Success for Elaine is attained when her clients are able to take over the routine marketing activities internally.

We like to develop long term partnerships with our clients; to be their “go to place” for anything marketing related! By working with clients’ month in and month out we can really get to know and understand their businesses; to become their “virtual marketing department”. This in depth knowledge of a client’s business enables us to always be looking for opportunities and ideas that could be of benefit or interest; to take a proactive role in our client relationships.

Keeping it simple
The first step to becoming a client is a face to face meeting where we can discuss your requirements. We offer a free consultation to all prospective clients to establish exactly what you are looking for and identify ways in which FlipFlop Marketing could be of assistance.
After the meeting we will send you a Terms of Reference outlining the marketing activities we believe you require with the associated costs and an estimated timeframe for completion. Transparency is important to us. We love surprises but not the unpleasant ones that inevitably cost you a lot more money than you were expecting.
If you want to go ahead with the project you sign and return a copy of the Terms of Reference and we proceed as agreed. Minimum hassle and fuss.
